Charlestown Bowling Club has had more than a renovation. As many of you would know General Property Trust, owners of Charlestown Square are expanding, and with the old club in the way were given the opportunity to relocate to a new 23 million dollar facility. The building is state of the art and environmentally friendly. The club has an underground water reservoir which collects recycled water and supplies the club with 80% of its water needs. (I.e. Sprinklers and toilets, not for drinking!!)
Bowls
CBC has two grass greens and a synthetic. Charlestown has always been a strong force in the bowling community which probably has a lot to do with the quality they are used to bowling on. Our greens are a credit to our greens staff. New bowling members are always welcome. CBC also caters for social bowls, have coaching and always encourage junior players to participate. Bistro
Our bistro has a wide variety of meals to suit the fussiest of eaters. The club has also had a wine menu professionally compiled to compliment our restaurant menu.
Restaurant trading hours are 12pm-2pm and 6pm-8.30pm seven days per week with the coffee shop all day which offers delicious espresso coffee with the temptation of an array of sumptuous cakes and slices. TAB/KENO
Like a punt on the horses? Check out our spacious TAB room, easily accessible to the bar, toilets and smoking area.
The club also has Keno.
Members are invited to enter and participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly promotions. Please contact the club for more information.
Auditorium
Our state of the art auditorium seats up to 400 people but can be divided for smaller gatherings. We cater for almost any occasion from birthdays, weddings, conferences, christenings and wakes. The room is open and the sound quality is simply amazing. The room has a bar and if requested is easily catered for. For function menu's please visit our function tab located on our home page.
Parking
No need to park in the sun or rain with our undercover parking which accommodates 180 cars with elevator access into the club.
